Timing is crucial in the battle against spyware. There are thousands of programmers, who write protection programs, but there are also thousands of wrong-doers, who are constantly looking for new ways to break into your computer. In a sense, the situation resembles the old Western movies where good guys in tall white hats are risking their lives to save yours but there are always bad guys in black outfits, who threaten innocent victims.
Running your computer without anti-virus software is an incredible risk. Your safety and your personal information are endangered. Your identity can be stolen. Even your computer can be damaged. The risks are so serious, that there is no excuse for not running an anti-virus program.
